Bikes can be hired by the hour up to a maximum of 4 hours. Please see the information below for hourly charges.

We offer an advance booking service subject to an advance booking to secure the booking. For more information please contact us on the number provided or go to Group Bookings and Parties. During school holidays and at weekends or when the weather is good, we do recommend arriving early to ensure availability.

We offer large family or group discounts of 10% on the total cost of hire for 6 bikes or more. If we are unable to meet your requirements, we can, of course, reserve bikes for you later in the day subject to full payment at the time of reservation.

During busy times and if you have a bike reservation, please arrive some 10 minutes before the time to allow for bike fitting and administration. Please note that we are only able to hold the bikes for a limited period of time before we hire them to others.

proof of address and a bank card or driving license to be held throughout the period of hire. We will also take a deposit depending on the value of the bikes hired. The deposit is taken as an authorisation only and will not be cashed unless required. On your return, your card or driving license is returned and subject to the safe and undamaged return of all bikes and equipment, the deposit is voided.

Please note that late returns of cycles will require an additional payment to be made. This charge is not onerous and is levied to ensure a smooth turnover to those waiting for bikes and for those who have made reservations. For example, if you are 8 or 23 minutes late you will be charged to the nearest quarter of an hour based on the hourly rate.
